An Introduction


Energy and Water Economics, founded in 2000 as a spinoff of Foster Associates, is an independent economic consulting firm specializing in policy and planning issues in the areas of water, energy, natural resources and the environment, and civil litigation.  EWE professionals use applied tools from environmental, resource, regional, agricultural, and regulatory economics in combination with financial, valuation, and statistical analysis.  EWE provides comprehensive economic consulting, technical analysis, and expert testimony.  We take pride in recognizing and responding to new economic and policy trends.  Our expertise broadly includes the following:
